As another incredible summer of Hoop Academy basketball comes to a close, we want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to everyone who helped make it possible.

To our campers: Thank you for bringing your energy, enthusiasm, competitiveness, and love of basketball into the gym every day. Watching you learn, compete, make new friends, and grow in confidence is why we continue to do this.

To our parents and families: Thank you for trusting us with your children and choosing The Hoop Academy. We know families have many options for camps and activities during the summer, and we never take it for granted when you choose to spend part of your summer with us.

To our coaches, counselors, guest speakers, and staff: Thank you for the time, energy, patience, and passion you bring to our programs. The Hoop Academy has always been about more than basketball, and the people working with our campers are the reason we can continue to provide that experience.

To the schools, recreation departments, athletic departments, administrators, custodial staffs, sponsors, and community partners who open their doors and work with us behind the scenes: Thank you. Your support allows us to bring affordable, high-quality basketball experiences to communities throughout Connecticut and Rhode Island.

And finally, thank you to everyone who has been part of The Hoop Academy over the years.

For more than 25 years, thousands of young athletes have walked through our gym doors. Some came for one week. Some returned summer after summer. Some eventually became counselors and coaches themselves. Every one of them has become part of the Hoop Academy story.

We are incredibly grateful for what this program has become, but even more excited about where it is going.
